October 13th is International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), a day to spotlight the importance of building resilient communities. As a proud member of the GNDR network, CSC-Asbl is dedicated to Healing Hearts and Building Futures in Eastern DR Congo. Through our Play4Peace (P4PM) and EmpowerHer programs, we offer healing through sports, gender equality, social cohesion, solidarity in adversity, and leadership opportunities for children and youth affected by conflict and natural disasters.

As we celebrate DRR Day, we are also preparing for CSC-Asbl Day on November 24th, where we will celebrate with children living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Uvira. This day, marking our founder’s birthday, is dedicated to supporting children who have experienced trauma due to discrimination, wars, conflict, and natural disasters, helping them heal and rebuild.
